Cook Brown Building Control are a Corporate Approved Inspector delivering an independent compliance solution for all types of projects, such as residential, education, retail and much more throughout England & Wales.
Cook Brown had quickly outgrown their current office and required larger premises for new employees along with informal and formal meeting spaces and suitable storage.
The new design at its core provided a desking layout that improved the communication between departments and project teams. From this we created collaborative spaces that were flexible, inviting and connected. The spaces were formed utilising a bespoke storage unit that not only reduced the need for new partitioning but also formed a central admin hub for all departments. The desire for a vibrant look was created using the clients corporate colours and combined with striking graphics to the new solid partitions and existing glazed partitions. The clean, fresh look of the new furniture was enhanced with a warm timber effect to storage units.
Working with the client to identify their working process was key to understanding their storage and administration requirements. This level of detail was used to create the bespoke storage / admin unit which has become an additional collaborative area for staff. During the planning process we identified the clients spacial requirements were met and there was surplus space. We designed the space to enable our client to sub-let the area whilst ensuring decent levels of separation.
“The project ran smoothly and to plan thanks to clear communication from the AMH team. The delivery of our new office was achieved within the time frame and to an excellent standard. I would greatly recommend AMH.”
